3 Tips To Improve Facebook Likes and Shares

Ever wonder why you can post and post to your business Facebook page and it never seems to get noticed? The more you post the more anonymous you feel! Well, it’s not just a feeling. You can go into Facebook oblivion when your post too frequently.

To Improve Facebook Likes you need to know that Facebook uses an algorithm, much like Google. It helps to determine who’s posts you’ll see in your news feed. Also like Google there’s no specific information on how to beat the algorithm to be seen more or to figure out how to reach more people. Neither company gives away those secrets because they want to sell advertising.

So what’s a business to do? Here’s 3 things you can do right away to Improve Facebook likes and shares of your page posts.

1. Post less. This Facebook tip especially applies to folks who post multiple, multiple, MULTIPLE times a day. If you’re posting 19 times a day cut back to 5 times a day. Too many posts make it look like you’re delivering quantity rather than quality. You may be losing readers because they have become dismissive of too much low quality information.

2. Pace your posts. Remember in college when you had just about finished reading Jane Eyre and a professor shoved Pride and Prejudice under your nose? No one likes to jump too quickly from one good read to the next. If you post at 8:05, 8:07, 8:08, and 8:09 try only posting the most relevant post and scrapping the rest. You’ll give your readers more time to absorb your posts and keep up with you.

3. Use the @ tags. If you’ve been posting a lot and posting at a hare’s pace then you may need to regain some of your fans. Consider thanking a fan now and then in a post or reply using the @ tag.

Relax on the posts and see Facebook grow.
