A simple solution to fix a specific need.
When I go to get my morning Chai I use my smartphone to pay. I usually hear a complaint from the barista about the glare, and how hard it is to scan the payment. This morning was different, the barista had used some Yankee ingenuity (well, I am in Connecticut!). They used a cup sleeve over the scanning gun to cut down on glare. A scan visor!
Now, for folks who wonder about WordPress plugins. They are simple solutions for specific needs. That’s about it. We can skip all the techie language like open-source, programming, scripts, and compatibility. I don’t think there’s one for glare, but they satisfy needs like shopping carts, portfolio galleries, online calendars, and probably a thousand other things that make a website more useful.
“More useful” — I like that.
